The 30 minute clip bug only seems to happen when using loop mode. Its a very random problem and hard to find what's actually causing it. Here are few different out comes depending on SD card or camera settings.

1. You may get a solid LED (camera freezes)
This usually happens when only 30 minute clip length is selected.
 

2. You may get a blinking LED (camera freezes)
This usually happens when 30 minute clip length and auto record is selected.
 

3. The camera seems to be working normally but you get no video files or 0 length files.
This usually happens when 30 minute clip length is selected and SD card was later formatted.

4. You may not have any problems and the camera works fine.
