Please note:

Although you cant see a space after [Date] and another space after 2010/04/23 (its there) both need a space after or it wont work.

The 12:32:10 does not need a space. So it will look like this:

[date] hit space bar once then hit enter
2010/04/23 hit space bar once then hit enter
12:32:10 no space needed

Save file as TAG.TXT
 

Installing the TAG.TXT file:

After creating the Time/Date file using note pad or using the enclosed TAG.TXT file it needs to go on the SD card next to the DCIM folder,  you can do this a couple different ways.

1. Plug the USB cable into camera, here you will see the DCIM folder. Drag and drop or copy and paste the TAG.TXT file next to the DCIM folder (not in it) then unplug the USB cable and wait for the lights to go off. Next time the camera is started the TAG.TXT file will automatically be deleted off SD card and the camera time and date will change.

2. Using a card reader or adapter drag and drop or copy and paste the TAG.TXT file next to the DCIM folder (not in it) Next time the camera is started the TAG.TXT file will automatically be deleted off SD card and the camera time and date will change.
